Indeed, it is another step ahead to further refine my skills in architecture and being a more learned person. My holidays have much been spent humbling myself in the realities of the Singapore society. It was the perfect entrenchment to get real. Literally, yes.. Life beyond the sheltered environment of NUS is very much different. Just when you think you aren't really that smart and all. The reality could be really as-a-matter-of-fact that there are people out there who had the opportunity to study but totally turned deaf to it. I think this is a vital point that I would look back to remind myself to strive harder.
Yes.. What is there to look out in my sophomore year?
The 1st thing that I would toss out would be the LONGER hours in school!! Haha.. in my new musky claustrophobic studio..
2nd would be more activities on the music side. NUS Piano Ensemble show for the Exxon Mobil Series will be on the 30th Sept 2009 @ 8pm in UCC Theatre
3rd: Gribbit gribbit!! Haha.. It is harder to spot my beloved in school as he would be hopping around in the weekends for jazz band practice.. Haha.. Here's a li'l promotion: NUS Jazz Band having a show "Treat Her Like a Lady (restage)" on the 29th Aug 2009, 8pm in UCC Theatre. Tickets going @ $12. If you want tickets, just write in to nusjazzband@gmail.com
4th - Hyper studio life.. as I have one of the liveliest studio mates around. Yes.. the petite spunky one who karaokes Korean, Chinese and Japanese songs in the middle of the night.. Cheers to sloppy lifestyles.. but not in the work!
Okay.. I should catch my beauty sleep.. before I miss out more on them..
Till then!
